as Vice President of Transportation underwriting

Clovis, CA, May 18, 2010: Lizette Felde has been appointed Vice President of Transportation. She will be part of Sierra’s leadership team to manage all Long Haul and Intermediate and Local Truck insurance underwriting as well as the Program Manager of the Towing & Recovery Insurance Program.

Lizette Felde possesses an in-depth, diversified knowledge of all lines of trucking and commercial auto insurance. Her underwriting expertise ranges from local to long haul, light duty to heavy haul, double drop to tanker as well as specialty lines such as Auto Transporters and Tow Trucks. She has expertise in underwriting nationwide as one of the most experienced Towing & Recovery Insurance underwriters in the country.

Her well-rounded background includes General Agency Management, Nationwide Program Underwriting, Producer, and Commercial Underwriting. She has organized Driver Safety Programs and is an Instructor of Insurance Seminars. She has had over 18 years of experience in the ownership and management of a trucking company with her family; with first hand knowledge of filings, DOT, permits and maintenance.
